Responsible Travel
How we work with parks, communities and wildlife across Tanzania.
Every safari you take contributes directly to conservation. Park and concession fees fund anti-poaching patrols, ranger salaries and habitat protection across Tanzania's protected areas.
We employ Tanzanian staff on permanent contracts, buy supplies locally wherever possible, and pay community fees for cultural visits directly to village committees rather than to intermediaries.
In the field we keep to the tracks, never crowd a sighting, never bait or call in animals, and cap the time we spend at a kill or a den. Guides are instructed to leave rather than join a queue of vehicles.
We offset the domestic flights on our fly-in itineraries and have removed single-use plastic bottles from every vehicle in the fleet.
